Spa Crest has won two Best Buys in this year’s annual WhatSpa? Best Buy Awards for our Charleston and Atlas/Hydrus models. Not only that, but this latest award is the sixth year in a row for our flagship product, the Atlas/Hydrus!WhatSpa-Best-Buy-Award-Logo-2013-300x300 is the UK’s only independent website and magazine dedicated to giving the consumer interested in hot tub ownership impartial expert advice on all aspects of buying and owning a hot tub. Each year it gives awards to the best spas from the world’s leading brands available in the UK, which deliver the best value across a range of price-points. 

We’re thrilled to have won another two WhatSpa? Best Buys, it is a testament to all the hard work put in by everyone involved at Spa Crest, both at our factory in the US, and at our UK and European operation. We’re especially delighted that the Atlas/Hydrus has won for the sixth year in a row, which highlights the incredible performance and value of this great hot tub.

Spa Crest have made some great improvements to the products which contribute greatly to their performance and appeal, like enhancing the insulation to increase our energy efficiency, and uniquely in the hot tub industry, the introduction of carbon fibre in our shell construction to give us unrivalled strength, but without increasing the products’ weight.

Hot tub ownership has been hogging the media spotlight recently after a survey of 2,000 homeowners carried out by OnePoll for Lloyds TSB Insurance and first broken in the Sunday Times, revealed that between 4% and 10% of homeowners has a garden spa. Other media outlets quickly picked up on this, including a feature on BBC1’s The One Show which highlighted happy hot tub owners extolling the benefits of their spas.
